Teen Mother Support
Health care, education, parenting classes, job training and community reintegration for young mothers who are often abandoned and stigmatised.
Welcome to HIMserve Society
Inclusive, dignity-centered, community-led development for vulnerable Himalayan communities.
Pillar One
Empowered to lead. Inspired to serve.
Lasting change happens when people in a community believe in their own ability to solve problems. We equip local leaders with the skills, confidence and tools to guide that change themselves.
Flagship initiative
TCT helps community leaders recognise their own strengths and the resources already around them. Rather than handing out aid that creates dependency, it puts local people in charge of shaping their village's future.
Traditional model
Outside aid, outside decisions, long-term dependency
The TCT way
Local leaders, local resources, change that lasts
Leaders learn through practical workshops and hands-on tools. Along the way, trust grows between leaders and residents — building stronger relationships and a shared vision for the community.
Preparing local groups, councils and community organisations to respond actively to the real needs of the people around them.
Pillar Two
Restoring health. Honouring dignity. Building sustainable futures.
Good health is the foundation of a dignified life. We tackle the root causes of illness — not just the symptoms — so families can stay healthy for the long term.
Check-ups, maternal care, children's health services and screenings in remote Himalayan villages and urban slums through the Dayasagar Mobile Health programme.
Emergency transport that gets critical patients to hospital without delay — tackling the three major delays that stop women from receiving life-saving care.
Antenatal care, safe delivery, STI screening, malaria prevention and postnatal support — so every mother and newborn has a healthy start.
Gravity-fed water systems, hand pumps, rainwater harvesting, hygiene education and latrine construction — especially vital for keeping girls in school.
Trauma-informed care, counselling and community resilience programmes that address the invisible wounds of poverty and exploitation.
Prevention, protection, rescue and recovery in high-risk areas of Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Alipurduar and the border regions of Sikkim and Nepal.
Pillar Three
Healthy children, strong future.
Every child deserves the chance to grow up healthy, safe and with dignity. We make sure children from the most remote villages get the care and education they need.
A safe, caring home for children from remote Himalayan villages — many orphaned, abandoned or at risk. Full and shared sponsorships are available.
School enrolment, uniforms, books, homework support and life-skills education so every child can access quality learning.
Nutritious meals, growth monitoring, immunisation drives and regular check-ups to prevent malnutrition and avoidable disease.
Beyond the three pillars
From livelihoods to disaster relief, these programmes reach the people most often left behind — women, young people, people with disabilities and families facing crisis.
Health care, education, parenting classes, job training and community reintegration for young mothers who are often abandoned and stigmatised.
Interlocking compressed stabilised earth bricks create disaster-resilient homes, cut construction emissions and open up new livelihoods for local entrepreneurs.
Organic farming training, cash crops (tea, ginger, turmeric, cardamom), kitchen gardens, farmer cooperatives, goat kits and aquaponics systems.
Rapid relief, mobile medical camps, emergency nutrition and child protection across Kalimpong, Darjeeling, Alipurduar and the Northeast border regions.
